Holy cats

 Cats don't 'sleep' in the way we think they are asleep. It is true that cats interdimensional beings are and regularly visited places where we cannot. Their eyes are also capable of detecting wavelengths of light that we cannot capture, which allows them to see energy, ghosts and more. In the same way that the dogs are our guards in the physical world, cats are our patrons in the world of energy. That is why cats were considered holy in ancient Egypt.
