Almas

 Alma of Central Asia 

 Almas, a mythological man's creature that allegedly resides in spacious and weakly inhabited expanses of the former Soviet Union. Reports on vision of such being date back to the Carska Russia period. The possible connection between Almass and Jeti, whose alleged vision was documented in the southern, Tibet and surrounding countries, is not completely clear, although descriptions suggests that the monkey appearance of Jeti, Alme have a stronger expression. There is an opinion that the community of survivors of Neanderthals would be withdrawn in the expansion of Homo Sapiens in the inaccessible and ried ends of Central Asia, but representatives of official science believe that their isolated survival in small numbers would be impossible.
